"Alt," meaning "old" in German, refers to the use of "old" brewing techniques. Specifically, altbiers are ales brewed at lager temperatures.
Our first "play" beer -- GREED. Available in very limited quantities, tapped on Thursday, April 30, there is still a bit left. When it's gone, it's gone!
